As one of the most common accessories of excavator, crushing hammer has been widely used in mining, railway, highway, municipal and other working places. So how to choose a good crushing hammer? Here are some tips for small weaving and finishing.
1. Weight and bucket capacity of excavator
First of all, we should consider the weight of the excavator, because the crushing hammer is too heavy, which will cause the excavator to overturn. If it is too small, it will not achieve the economic efficiency of the excavator, but also accelerate the damage of the crushing hammer.
Only when the weight of the two is matched can the effect of excavator and crushing hammer be brought into full play.
2. Working flow and pressure of crushing hammer
The working flow of hydraulic crushing hammers of different sizes is different. The flow of small crushing hammers can be as small as 15L per minute, while that of large crushing hammers can reach more than 450L per minute.
Therefore, when selecting the crushing hammer, the flow requirements of the crushing hammer must be consistent with the output flow of the standby valve of the excavator.
The flow determines the working frequency of the crushing hammer, that is, the number of shocks per minute. The flow is directly proportional to the number of shocks.
Therefore, when the output flow of the standby valve of the excavator is greater than the required flow of the hydraulic crushing hammer, the hydraulic system will produce too much heat, resulting in too high system temperature and reducing the service life of the components.
